The Trade & Exchange Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution, monitoring, reporting, and settlement of bond trades across institutional and retail segments. The role will act as the central coordination point between dealing desks, relationship managers, exchanges, and internal operations teams to ensure accurate trade lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.
Trade Management & Monitoring
• Collate and maintain all daily bond trades executed across platforms.
• Monitor trade execution activities, including NDX and LB transactions.
• Track trade status throughout the lifecycle and ensure timely completion.
• Follow up on pending trade approvals and execution-related exceptions.
• Process and coordinate trade modifications, cancellations, and rejections.
Exchange Operations
• Report trades to exchanges within prescribed timelines.
• Manage all exchange-related operational activities and communications.
• Coordinate with exchange support teams for issue resolution and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to exchange reporting and operational guidelines.
Settlement & Reconciliation
• Monitor trade settlements and escalate delays or settlement exceptions.
• Perform daily trade reconciliation and ensure closure of mismatches.
• Conduct end-of-day trade reconciliation and reporting activities,
including the 4 PM trade reconciliation process.
Trade Documentation & Communication
• Maintain and update bond master sheets and trade records.
• Share deal tickets and trade confirmations with Relationship Managers.
• Acknowledge, block, and coordinate trade requests received through approved communication channels, including WhatsApp.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
Controls & Process Management
• Identify operational gaps, trade exceptions, and process inefficiencies. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely resolution of trade-related issues.
• Support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives within trade operations.
Desired Profile
Experience 13 years of experience in capital markets, fixed income operations, trade support, exchange operations, or financial services.
Experience handling bond transactions and exchange reporting processes will be preferred.
Skills
• Strong understanding of bond trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
• Familiarity with exchange operations and trade reporting requirements.
• Robust reconciliation and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and operational accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under strict timelines.
• Proficiency in Excel and operational reporting tools.
