Job Summary

To design, develop, configure and support ServiceNow TPRM and GRM/GRC module requirements, including custom application development, integrations, workflow automation, reporting and production support, while ensuring secure, scalable and compliant platform delivery.

Responsibilities

- Develop and configure ServiceNow TPRM and GRM/GRC module features based on approved functional and technical requirements.
- Build and enhance workflows, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, UI actions, notifications, scheduled jobs and data models as required.
- Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, import sets, transform maps, MID Server or other approved integration methods as per solution design.
- Apply Java development experience to support enterprise application logic, API understanding, integration patterns, debugging and code quality practices.
- Work with functional teams to convert user stories into technical design, configuration, development, unit testing and deployment packages.
- Support UAT, defect fixing, production issue analysis, release validation and post-go-live stabilization for ServiceNow compliance and risk workflows.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment notes, configuration records and reusable development standards for ServiceNow platform changes.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, role-based access control, audit trail requirements and change management processes.

Key Decisions / Dimensions

- Choose appropriate ServiceNow configuration or scripting approach within approved technical design and platform standards.
- Identify root cause for defects, recommend fixes and validate whether issues require configuration, code, data or process correction.
- Recommend technical improvements to simplify workflows, improve performance, reduce manual effort and strengthen compliance controls.
- Escalate technical blockers, integration dependencies,



security concerns or design deviations to the technical lead/project lead.
- Role grade: GB05/GB06; relevant experience: 7-9 years; primary scope includes ServiceNow TPRM and GRM/GRC module development, configuration and production support.
- Expected to handle multiple user stories, enhancements, integrations, defects, UAT support items, technical documentation and release activities in parallel.

Major Challenges

- Understanding complex TPRM, risk, compliance and audit business processes and converting them into maintainable ServiceNow configurations.
- Managing custom development while avoiding over-customization and maintaining platform upgrade compatibility.
- Ensuring data quality, access control, integration reliability and audit readiness across multiple workflows and stakeholder groups.
- Resolving defects and production issues within agreed timelines while coordinating with business, compliance, Infosec and vendor teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Educational Qualifications: Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent. ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD or CIS-GRC/IRM will be preferred.
- Experience: 7-9 years of total IT experience with hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience. Exposure to ServiceNow TPRM, GRM/GRC, IRM, risk, compliance, audit or vendor risk processes is preferred.
- Core Functional / Technical Skills: ServiceNow scripting, Java development experience, JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Workflow, ACLs, catalog/configuration, notifications, scheduled jobs and debugging.
- Additional Skills: REST/SOAP integrations, API concepts, JSON/XML, import sets, transform maps, data loads, MID Server understanding, reports and dashboards.
- Behavioral Competencies: Understanding of third-party risk management, governance/risk/compliance workflows, control testing, issue management, policy compliance, audit process and IT compliance controls.
