- Source and procure construction equipment, heavy machinery, and related materials from vendors to meet project requirements.
- Develop robust relationships with vendors through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct cost analysis and negotiate prices with vendors to ensure optimal pricing for projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements in sourcing processes.
Job Requirements :
- 8-12 years of experience in sourcing engineer role or similar position in the engineering & construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment, heavy engineering, sheet metal fabrication, welding techniques, and vendor development.
- Excellent costing skills with ability to analyze data effectively.
