Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor daily ETP/STP plant operations as per SOPs and company standards.
- Ensure smooth, efficient and continuous operation of the treatment plant.
- Monitor plant performance, process parameters and treatment efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate ETP/STP Operators and site manpower.
- Ensure proper operation of pumps, blowers, dosing systems, filters, clarifiers and other plant equipment.
- Monitor chemical dosing and chemical/biological treatment processes.
- Ensure required water and wastewater quality parameters are monitored and recorded.
- Ensure compliance with MPCB/Pollution Control Board requirements, environmental regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate routine preventive maintenance and attend to equipment-related issues.
- Identify operational problems and assist in troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns, repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of chemicals, sludge, waste oil and other waste generated during plant operations.
- Ensure workplace cleaning, plant housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Maintain daily operational records, logbooks, checklists and plant reports.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly operational reports to the reporting manager.
- Monitor manpower attendance, work allocation and shift activities at site.
- Ensure availability of chemicals, consumables, PPE and other operational requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify safety or operational gaps.
- Ensure all employees follow required PPE, safety and environmental procedures.
- Report plant performance, operational issues,



maintenance requirements and compliance-related matters to the Assistant Manager/ reporting authority.
- Coordinate with client representatives and internal teams for smooth site operations.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of ETP/STP operations and wastewater treatment processes.
- Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment is preferred.
- Valuable understanding of chemical and biological treatment processes.
- Knowledge of pumps, blowers, dosing systems, filters, clarifiers and other ETP/STP equipment.
- Basic to good troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and dosing.
- Awareness of MPCB/Pollution Control Board and environmental compliance requirements.
- Good team handling, manpower coordination and supervision skills.
- Good reporting, documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, operators, maintenance teams and management.
- Strong focus on safety, housekeeping and environmental practices.

Candidate Profile

- Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry/ Environment, B.Tech / M.Tech Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or relevant qualification.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in ETP/STP operations, Water and Wastewater treatment or a related field.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in industrial ETP/STP operations will be preferred.
- Experience in supervising operators and site manpower will be an added advantage.
- Should be comfortable working at industrial plant/site locations.
- Willing to work at Pune or Satara locations.
- Should be responsible, disciplined, proactive and capable of handling site operations independently.
- Candidates willing to work in shifts, if required, will be preferred.
