Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Developer Marketing Cloud & Agentforce Engineer to architect and build scalable, AI-driven marketing solutions. In this role, you will design customer data architectures, build API integrations, and implement Salesforce Agentforce autonomous agents alongside core Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) technologies. You will bridge traditional marketing automation (AMPscript, SSJS, Journey Builder) with generative AI workflows to deliver intelligent customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Agentforce & AI Solution Engineering

- Design, build, and deploy Agentforce agents, Topics, and Actions tailored for marketing automation and customer engagement workflows.
- Configure Prompt Builder and integrate LLM-assisted decisioning into customer journeys and dynamic messaging.
- Connect Agentforce with Salesforce Data Cloud and external APIs to supply real-time context and ground AI actions safely.
- Establish guardrails, testing protocols, and compliance standards for AI-generated interactions.

Data Architecture & System Integrations

- Design relational data schemas, Data Extensions, and customer profiles to support real-time AI decisioning and segmentation.
- Build REST/SOAP API integrations, microservices, and webhooks connecting SFMC with internal backends, CDPs, and enterprise systems.
- Write intermediate-to-advanced SQL queries (JOIN, GROUP BY, string/math functions) for data transformations in Automation Studio and Data Cloud.

Development & Technical Execution

- Build dynamic,



personalized logic using AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Develop custom CloudPages, interactive forms, and API-triggered entry sources in Journey Builder.
- Troubleshoot complex data flows, API failures, and agent execution paths using root-cause analysis.

Mandatory Qualifications

- SFMC Core & Scripting: 3+ years of hands-on experience in SFMC (Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder) with proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, and JavaScript.
- Salesforce AI / Agentforce Exposure: Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, or Prompt Builder.
- System Integrations: Proven track record connecting platforms via REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and native connectors.
- Data & SQL Expertise: Strong foundation in relational data modeling, data profiling, and SQL query optimization.
- Web Development: Core skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for CloudPages and template execution.
- Problem Solving & Communication: Robust troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain AI/technical workflows to cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to Have

- Salesforce Data Cloud: Experience with Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), Identity Resolution, and Calculated Insights.
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform: Familiarity with API Manager, DataWeave, and CloudHub integration pattern.
- Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce AI Associate, or Agentforce Specialist.
