Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and highly technical Application Architect to design, evolve, and modernize our core software platforms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technological execution, driving the architecture of high-performance, scalable, and resilient cloud-native systems.

Experience:

10 12 years of hands-on experience in software development and enterprise application architecture, with at least 5 years in an Architecture or Technical Leadership role designing large-scale, distributed enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect & Design: Define the architectural blueprint and technical roadmap for enterprise-grade applications utilizing Java, microservices, and modern middleware solutions.

Application Modernization: Lead the migration and refactoring of legacy monolithic applications into highly scalable, cloud-native microservices architectures.

Data Architecture: Design robust data strategies integrating relational databases, NoSQL, open-source data platforms, and high-performance in-memory databases.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Architect secure, resilient, and cost-effective solutions deployment strategies on major cloud platforms.

Technical Governance: Establish coding standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices. Conduct code and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Collaboration & Leadership: Act as a technical mentor to development teams and collaborate closely with product managers, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Core Architecture & Development





- Expert Java Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep expertise in Java (Core & Advanced) and modern framework ecosystems (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Quarkus).
- Microservices Architecture: Proven experience designing distributed systems, domain-driven design (DDD), and microservices patterns (API Gateway, Service Mesh, Event Sourcing, CQRS).
- Middleware & Integration: Extensive experience with enterprise middleware, messaging systems, and event streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Databases: Strong proficiency in both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
- In-Memory Data Stores: Hands-on experience caching and session management using in-memory databases (e.g., Redis, Hazelcast).
- Open-Source Data Platforms: Familiarity with data engineering components and open-source data platforms (e.g., Apache Spark, Elasticsearch).
- Cloud Platforms: Robust experience architecting solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Modernization Strategies: Direct experience with "strangler fig" patterns, re-platforming, and containerizing legacy systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Skilled Cloud Architect, or Spring Certified Enterprise Integration Specialist).

Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
