Account Officer-

We are looking for Accounting/ Finance/ Reporting professional who can handle/ supervise Day to Day accounting & reporting independently

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of monthly management information (MI) for the key overseas subsidiaries and provide management in India with a clear view of financial and business performance.
- Review and analyse P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and key business metrics, focusing on understanding the story behind the numbers rather than simply reporting them.
- Coordinate with local finance/accounting teams and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely and consistent financial information.
- Review the monthly closing and challenge significant movements, unusual transactions and accounting issues.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and balances, working with the relevant India teams on funding, interest and settlement matters.
- Support budgets, forecasts,



variance analysis and business planning for the key subsidiaries.
- Work with the Group's Odoo setting to improve reporting, controls and financial data quality.
- Coordinate with the India Finance / Accounting team on matters required for group reporting and consolidation, while the detailed consolidation and related accounting activities remain with the India Accounting team.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and local accountants on matters requiring Group-level oversight.

Continuously improve the Group's financial reporting, controls and processes

Preferred candidate profile -

- 4-5 relevant experience
- Experience with Tally/ Odoo or another ERP
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
