Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Qlik Developer with 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable dashboards and data models using Qlik Sense and QlikView.

The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and reporting teams to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, high-performing analytics solutions. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, dimensional modelling, data security, and performance optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical applications using Qlik Sense and QlikView.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and convert them into scalable BI and reporting solutions.
- Build efficient Qlik data models using Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and associative modelling principles.
- Develop and optimise Qlik load scripts, expressions, set analysis, variables, and master measures.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, APIs, cloud platforms, flat files, and enterprise applications.
- Develop ETL and data transformation workflows using Qlik scripting and Qlik Data Integration tools.
- Create reusable data layers, QVD files, data marts, and governed datasets.
- Implement Section Access, row-level security, user access controls, and application-level security.
- Optimise dashboard performance, data reload processes, memory utilisation, and application response times.
- Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data reload tasks using Qlik Management Console.
- Perform data validation,



reconciliation, report testing, and defect resolution.
- Design visually effective dashboards based on data visualisation and user experience best practices.
- Support migration and modernisation initiatives from QlikView to Qlik Sense.
- Collaborate with business users during user acceptance testing and production deployment.
- Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, solution designs, and user guides.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Qlik developers.
- Follow Agile delivery practices and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, and analytics development.
- Robust hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and QlikView.
- Advanced knowledge of Qlik scripting, Set Analysis, expressions, variables, and associative data modelling.
- Strong experience in developing enterprise dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and management reports.
- Experience working with QVD architecture, incremental loads, binary loads, and optimised data layers.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, query optimisation, stored procedures, and relational databases.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL, dimensional modelling, and data integration concepts.
- Experience implementing Section Access, role-based access, and data-level security.
- Strong knowledge of Qlik Management Console, task scheduling, application deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience handling large datasets and improving dashboard and reload performance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead reporting workstreams.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
