Experience description
- 15+ years of experience in leading electrical design & execution of data centers Must have handled at least full-cycle Indian data center project, from concept to commissioning.
- Solid knowledge of Indian & International regulations.
- Expertise in EHV (66kV & above), HV, MV, and LV power distribution for high-capacity data centers.
- Proficiency in ETAP, Amtech, AutoCAD, and 3D tools like Revit MEP, Navisworks, ACC.
- Experience in SLD preparation, fault level coordination, relay setting, grounding, and lightning protection.
- Strong understanding of UPS, DG synchronization, energy storage, and power backup strategies.
- Knowledge of SCADA, BMS, EMS, and smart electrical infrastructure.
Technical Skills:
Required:

Roles and responsibilities
As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping next generation digital infrastructure. collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across globally.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design, engineering, and execution of large-scale data centre projects in India & globally.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget and compliance with technical specifications.
- Develop electrical system concepts, schematics, and detailed designs aligned with both Indian and international standards. Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
- Design power distribution systems (EHV/HV/MV/LV), ensuring redundancy and high availability. Develop SLD, equipment layout, grounding, lightning protection, and earthing systems.
- Conduct load flow, short circuit, harmonics, and arc flash studies using ETAP, Amtech, or similar tools.
- Ensure fault level coordination, generator synchronization, UPS system design, and active/passive power backup planning. Review and approve BOD (Basis of Design), power distribution strategies, and electrical load lists.
- Provide cost estimation, procurement specifications, and vendor technical evaluations. Ensure designs comply with Indian codes and international codes.
- Ensure fire & life safety compliance as per local and global best practices.
- Review vendor drawings and validate equipment suitability for Indian & international projects. Engage with clients, consultants, and project teams to align project goals.
- Represent company in technical meetings, workshops, and business development discussions. Guide and mentor junior engineers & designers, fostering skill development.
- Support resource planning and allocation for India-based and global projects.
