Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced PMO professional with a strong Finance background to support project governance, financial planning, management reporting, stakeholder coordination, and execution of strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in Finance, Finance Operations, Business Operations, Project Coordination, or PMO, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

This is a business/finance-focused PMO role and does not require a technical or software-development background.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and track multiple finance and business initiatives from planning through completion.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, action trackers, and governance dashboards.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Track project budgets, actual spending, forecasts, and budget variances.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, HR, Procurement, and other business stakeholders.
- Conduct weekly/monthly project governance reviews and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Support annual planning,



budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking activities.
- Analyze project and financial data and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Maintain project documentation, process trackers, SOPs, and governance records.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure timely communication and follow-up with stakeholders.
- Support senior management in strategic initiatives and business transformation projects.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance / Finance Operations / PMO / Business Operations / Project Coordination.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder-management and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience preparing MIS and management reports.
- Good understanding of project governance and project lifecycle management.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualification

- MBA Finance / Operations / Business Management / Strategy preferred.
- B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or other Finance-related qualifications are also relevant.
- B.Tech / Engineering background is not required.
- PMP / CAPM / PRINCE2 / Lean Six Sigma certification would be an added advantage.
