Electrical Supervisor

Experience

1-8 Years

Project Experience

Candidates with experience in Data Centre, Infrastructure, Metro Rail, Railway, Tunnel projects will be preferred.

Education

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Supervisor License/Certification will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation and execution activities at project sites.
- Execute electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Supervise installation of LT/HT electrical systems, panels, transformers, DG systems, UPS, cable trays, bus ducts, cables, lighting, earthing, and power distribution systems.
- Coordinate electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical layouts, cable schedules, and shop drawings.
- Ensure proper cable laying, termination, glanding, dressing, tray installation, and cable routing.
- Monitor installation of electrical equipment and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- - Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams for testing and approval of electrical works.
- Ensure electrical work is completed within the planned schedule and required quality standards.
- Maintain daily progress reports,



material records, inspection reports, and site documentation.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Electrical Engineer/Project Manager for timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, NFPA and project-specific electrical standards, wherever applicable.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE and electrical safety procedures at the project site.
- Supervise and manage electricians, technicians, subcontractors, and manpower at site.

Preferred Project Experience

Candidates should preferably have hands-on execution experience in one or more of the following:

- Data Centre Projects
- Metro Rail Projects
- Railway Projects
- Tunnel Projects
- Infrastructure Projects

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of electrical installation and site execution.
- Good understanding of LT/HT systems and power distribution.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs.
- Knowledge of cable laying, termination, testing, and commissioning.
- Manpower and subcontractor handling skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of electrical safety and site procedures.
- Ability to work under project deadlines and manage site activities independently.
