Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale distributed systems using Apache Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, replication, and consumer/producer applications.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance optimization of the system.

Job Requirements :

- 6-13 years of experience in software development with expertise in Apache Kafka.
- Configured and supported Kafka ecosystem components, including brokers, ZooKeeper, KRaft, Schema Registry, and Kafka Connect, with a robust understanding of Kafka architecture and platform operations.
- Monitored Kafka platform health, performance, and observability through Confluent Control Center.
- Deployed Kafka components using Terraform modules and resources, enabling standardized and scalable infrastructure provisioning.
- Built and supported CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions for Kafka deployments, improving deployment consistency and automation.
