Technology Stack

DevExpress • .NET (C#) • SQL Server • React

Youll build the reporting/BI layer using DevExpress (dashboards, reporting, data grids/pivot) on a .NET / C# backend over SQL Server, with React front-ends. Familiarity with the broader Phoenix platform (Azure, MongoDB) is a plus but not the day-to-day.

What You’ll Do

- Build interactive dashboards, KPI reports, grids, and pivots using the DevExpress suite (DevExpress Dashboard, Reporting, DevExtreme/React components).
- Develop reporting APIs and services in .NET Core / C#, backed by SQL Server.
- Author efficient SQL — complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and query tuning over large datasets.
- Build React front-ends that host DevExpress/DevExtreme components and custom report views.
- Design report data models (facts/dimensions, aggregations, time-series readings) and keep reports fast at scale.




- Enforce multi-tenant data isolation and role-based visibility — a report must never leak one customer's data into another's; different roles see different slices.
- Own data correctness — reconciliation, validation, and root-causing “the numbers are wrong.

Must-Have

- 3 to 5 years of experience in BI / reporting.
- DevExpress — hands-on experience with Dashboard, Reporting, and/or DevExtreme (React) components.
- .NET Core / C# — REST APIs and service development.
- SQL Server — complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, optimization, and data modelling.
- React — building and integrating components, including state, hooks, and data fetching.
- Proven dashboard/KPI development experience and a rigorous mindset about data accuracy.

Strongly Preferred

- Row-level / role-based security in a reporting context.
- Multi-tenant SaaS experience and tenant-scoped reporting.
- Azure — App Service, Azure SQL, Blob/Storage, DevOps CI/CD, and Key Vault.
- ETL / data pipelines — SSIS / SSRS or equivalent.
- TypeScript; exposure to Node.js and MongoDB as part of the broader Phoenix platform.

Nice-to-Have

- Industrial / inspection / asset-integrity / IIoT / time-series data domain experience.
- AI-augmented workflow experience using Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT, with strong verification habits.
- Metadata- or configuration-driven dashboard experience.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

- Ship a production DevExpress dashboard/report end-to-end — SQL Server .NET API React — that is fast and correct.
- Demonstrate tenant isolation and role-based visibility working under test.
- Establish a repeatable, reviewable pattern for adding new reports.
