Job Title: Mobile (Android & iOS) & Web Automation Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented AI Automation Tester to evaluate the functionality, usability, and performance of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms PLUS Web Applications (Websites). The ideal candidate will ensure that apps & Websites meet quality standards before release by identifying bugs, reporting issues, and collaborating with developers to improve overall product quality.

Role & responsibilities

Perform manual and/or automated testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS devices, plus web apps

Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts

Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) Conduct functional, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing

- Test applications across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes
- Validate UI/UX consistency and adherence to design specifications
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman (if required)

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews (Agile environment)

Re-test fixes and perform regression testing before release

- Ensure compliance with platform guidelines (Google Play & Apple App Store)

Maintain detailed test reports and documentation





Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree (Engg.) in computer science, IT, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in mobile & Web application testing (Android & iOS) Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
- Familiarity with tools like:
- Jira
- Selenium / Appium (for automation, Plus MCP Server or similar AI enabled tech stack)
- Postman (API testing)
- Experience of working in e-Commerce area would be added advantage
- Knowledge of Android Studio and Xcode basics
- Experience testing real devices and emulators/simulators
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with test automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, MCP)

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Experience with performance testing tools
- Familiarity with accessibility testing standards

Quality assurance metrics and improvement suggestions
