- Monitor and control SMT quality processes including SPI, AOI, reflow, and PCB assembly operations.
- Analyze defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, and Pareto analysis.
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards, customer requirements, and quality management systems.
- Manage first-pass yield (FPY), rejection trends, and process capability improvements.
- Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, and Maintenance teams for quality improvement initiatives.
- Handle customer complaints, internal audits, and external quality audits.
- Train and develop quality inspectors and engineers on SMT quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Prepare quality reports, dashboards, and management review data.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and improve productivity.
