Role Description

We're looking for a Software Engineer (Intern to FTE track) to help build core features across our full stack (React/TypeScript, Node.js/Supabase/PostgreSQL) and AI integrations. This is a remote, India-based role, ideal for a motivated early-career engineer or final-year student who wants to build production software and grow into a full-time position with the founding team.The internship period is 3 to 6 months, with the opportunity to convert to full time based on performance and business need. You'll work directly with product managers, data scientists, and customer analysts, translating business requirements into scalable, reliable systems and helping shape Konnecta's technical direction as an early team member.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and customer analysts
- Help implement APIs and services across the full stack (React/TypeScript, Node.js/Supabase/PostgreSQL)
- Contribute to data pipelines handling structured and unstructured data
- Support CRM-related workflows understanding how customer data flows across sales and support
- Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews




- Troubleshoot issues and contribute to improving development workflows
- Participate in product roadmap discussions with the team

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience
- CS fundamentals algorithms, data structures, software engineering principles
- Intermediate TypeScript/JavaScript, with a builder mindset
- Experience with React (component design, basic state management), from coursework, projects, or internships
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Exposure to serverless/Edge Functions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Interest in or exposure to AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) and structured data extraction
- Familiarity with CRM tools or sales/support workflows
- Any production or personal project experience beyond coursework
