- Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases and related conditions.
- Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, emergency consultations, and follow-up care.
- Perform and interpret ECG, Echocardiography, TMT, Holter monitoring, and other relevant cardiac investigations as per qualification and hospital privileges.
- Manage acute cardiac emergencies, including acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, heart failure, and other critical cardiac conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans and monitor patient response to treatment.
- Coordinate with other specialties for multidisciplinary patient management.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, clinical notes, discharge summaries, and investigation reports.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection-control practices,



patient-safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement activities, CME programmes, and departmental meetings.
- Guide and support junior doctors, residents, and clinical staff in patient management.
- Ensure appropriate counselling of patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, risks, and follow-up.
- Participate in on-call and emergency duties as assigned by the hospital.
