- Design and develop press shop layouts, including fixture design, tooling selection, and equipment placement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new product launches, analyzing manufacturing requirements and identifying potential challenges.
- Develop detailed designs for sheet metal components using CAD software.
Job Requirements :
- 3-6 years of experience in a press shop workplace or related field (automobile industry).
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials science.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) for designing complex parts.
- Experience working with industrial equipment/machinery operations.
