About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Engineer to manage and supervise the civil construction activities for our upcoming Salt Washery Plant in Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have strong practical, on-site construction experience and the ability to independently coordinate civil works from planning and drawings through execution and completion.

This is a hands-on role suited to a civil engineer who understands industrial construction, RCC and structural foundations, site execution, construction drawings, quantity estimation, contractor management, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities for the salt washery plant.
- Study, prepare, review, and interpret civil construction drawings, layouts, foundation drawings, structural details, and site plans.
- Coordinate execution of foundations, RCC works, flooring, equipment foundations, drainage, roads, buildings, platforms, trenches, and other associated civil works.
- Ensure construction is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, measurements, and project schedules.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, labour, and site activities to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Monitor construction progress and prepare regular site progress reports.
- Check dimensions, levels, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete work, and other construction activities before execution.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, plant, and project teams wherever civil works interface with plant installation.
- Maintain records of drawings, measurements, material consumption, work progress, inspections, and contractor work.
- Assist in BOQ preparation, quantity estimation,



material planning, and cost control.
- Identify site issues, deviations, and construction difficulties and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure proper utilization of construction materials and minimize wastage.
- Monitor compliance with applicable quality, safety, and construction standards.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and rectification of defective or incomplete work.
- Support project management in achieving construction milestones within the planned timeline and budget.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3+ years of real-world construction/site execution experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of RCC, foundations, concrete, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, flooring, drainage, and general civil construction.
- Ability to understand and work with AutoCAD/civil construction drawings.
- Experience in construction planning, site supervision, contractor coordination, measurements, and project execution.
- Industrial plant, factory, infrastructure, warehouse, chemical, manufacturing, or similar construction experience will be highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, quality control, estimation, and site documentation.
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to work at the project site in Gujarat.
- Candidates who can independently handle civil construction activities and coordinate with contractors will be preferred.
