•⁠ ⁠Set up single head embroidery machines — load thread, hoop fabric, position garment pieces accurately

• Load and adjust embroidery designs per craft-specific specs (traditional motifs, borders, panel work)

• Select thread colours, needle types, and stabilizers suited to handloom and other delicate fabrics used across the range

• Monitor runs for thread breaks, misalignment, or tension issues; stop/restart as needed

• Inspect finished embroidery for stitch quality, colour accuracy, and design placement against approved samples

• Perform basic troubleshooting — needle changes, tension adjustments, thread jams

• Maintain and clean machines; routine servicing (oiling, part replacement)

• Maintain production records — units completed, rejects, downtime





• Coordinate with design and production teams on order specs, festive-cycle deadlines, and craft authenticity standards

• Follow safety protocols around moving parts and needles

Skills/qualifications:

• Prior experience on embroidery machines would be great

• Comfort working with delicate/handloom fabrics and traditional design motifs

• Solid attention to detail and hand-eye coordination

• Ability to read work orders/design files accurately

• Physical stamina for standing and repetitive tasks

• Prior experience in ethnic wear/garment manufacturing preferred
