Job Description

Lead Structural Designer – Hydropower & Pumped Storage Projects
Experience - 20+ Years
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Designer with over 20 years of expertise in the structural design and detailing of Hydropower and Pumped Storage Projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating structural drawings and 3D models for complex hydroelectric infrastructure, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards,



and client requirements.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in multidisciplinary coordination and have worked on large-scale underground and surface hydroelectric facilities from concept through detailed engineering and construction support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review detailed structural design drawings and construction drawings for hydropower and pumped storage projects.
- Prepare structural layouts, reinforcement detailing, steel detailing, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for:
- Dams (Concrete Gravity, RCC, and Earth/Rockfill)
- Intake structures
- Spillways
- Powerhouses (Surface and Underground)
- Transformer caverns
- Surge shafts and surge chambers
- Pressure shafts and penstocks
- Tailrace tunnels and outlet structures
- Cable tunnels and utility galleries
- Coordinate closely with Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Electrical, and Geol
