Controller position is responsible for the development of short- and long-term financial strategies in support of the company's strategic mission and goals.
The job holder is responsible for directing OSII’s overall financial policies. Controller oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, company, land matters and treasury. Controller also designs and coordinates a wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports. Controller ensures that financial systems and processes are adhered to and there is no misappropriation.
Controller develops, builds and maintains financial agreements and strategic alliances with public sector offices, and other partners, including banks.
Controller is also responsible for providing policy guidance and recommendations on key financial issues for all OSII projects and operations to the Management Team.
Controller evaluates complex issues and proposes and implements alternatives based on OSII resources, priorities and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
- Participate in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of recent programs/strategies and regulatory action.
- Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the General Manager and the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
