The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you’ll make

Designs, develops, and deploys state-of-the-art robotic systems engineered for autonomous maintenance and fault diagnostics of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Integrates advanced computer vision, sensor fusion, and real-time control algorithms to enable predictive maintenance capabilities and minimize equipment downtime in critical fab environments. Applies advanced electronic control systems, designs and assists in the manufacture of consumer products and in the development of new electro-mechanical concepts for recent product lines. Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans and supporting testing and validation of products.

What you’ll do




- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to design, build, test & troubleshoot applications on Lam robotic system
- Develop and validate computer vision pipelines for equipment inspection, AI assisted path planning and orchestration
- Design robotic path programs and motion trajectories to safely navigate complex fab equipment geometry while maintaining precision and repeatability
- Apply advanced robotics theories, control systems methods, and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of maintenance challenges
- Act as liaison for cross-functional projects across equipment engineering, software development, and field support organizations
- Prototype, test, and iterate on mechanical, electrical, and software components to optimize performance and reliability
