As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Reconciliation technology team, you'll be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, reliable, and scalable way. You will be part of the best-in-class Reconciliations platform team and will work with a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are developing and deploying applications to the highest standards. The team is responsible for providing a multi-asset Reconciliations platform that will cover cash, swaps, listed options and futures across Front, Middle and Back Offices.
Job responsibilities
- Work across entire software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment and handover to support teams.
- Join the cloud adoption journey.




- Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support), while establishing consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team.
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
- Manage requirements, specifications, and design documents
- Handle release and stakeholder management
- Involve in L3 support for Production environments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Strong analytical
