Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Design and development of Steering system for light commercial vehicle platform.
- Design and development of Front axle system for light commercial vehicle platform.
- Deliver Steering and Front wheel end aggregates as per QCDW (Quality, cost, delivery, weight) for projects.
- Resolve field / Mfg concerns
- Leading a team of people
- DFMEA, Design review, DVP generation, analysis using G8D technique
- Vehicle level and component level DVP requirements
- Interact with CAE, CDMM, validation for aggregate development
- Interact with suppliers for proprietary part design and development
- Root cause analysis and concern resolution.
- Aware of Homologation and regulatory requirements.
- Build technology roadmap on the above aggregates and execute potential ideas
