About the role:
As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Data pipeline / ETL-ELT testing: validation of ingestion, transformation, and load processes across batch and streaming pipelines
- Data warehouse and lakehouse validation: schema, completeness, accuracy, uniqueness, referential integrity, and timeliness
- Source-to-target reconciliation: row counts, aggregate balancing, and field-level validation between operational systems (POS, e-commerce, OMS, ERP) and the data platform
- Data quality automation:
automated data validation frameworks (Outstanding Expectations, dbt tests, Soda, or custom SQL frameworks) integrated into pipeline orchestration and CI/CD
- BI and reporting validation: testing dashboards and reports — metric definitions, aggregations, and drill-down accuracy — against certified sources.
- Data migration and conversion testing in support of platform initiatives
- Regression testing of data models and semantic layers when upstream schemas or business rules change
- Testing and validation of AI ML models plus Conversational BI including deep reasoning
- Data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, and data incident triage support.Compliance-aware test practices for customer and transaction data (CCPA/GDPR, PCI-DSS), including masked/synthetic data usage
