All about the role:
We are looking for an Enterprise DevOps / Platform Engineer with a strong focus
on Developer Experience (DevEx) to own and evolve our GitHub platform and SDLC
tooling at enterprise scale. In this role, you will sit in Central IT and act as
the platform owner and enabler for thousands of developers across IT and the
wider business, driving developer productivity, self-service capabilities, and
best-in-class engineering experiences while shaping how software is built,
secured, and delivered across a global manufacturing organization.
What you'll do:
We are looking for a an Enterprise DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and evolve
our GitHub platform and SDLC tooling at enterprise scale. In this role, you will
sit in Central IT and act as the platform owner and enabler for thousands of
developers across IT and the wider business, shaping how software is built,

* Own and evolve GitHub as an enterprise platform (structure, access,
governance, integrations)
* Define and drive enterprise SDLC standards and “golden paths”
* Lead the development of a developer portal and self‑service capabilities
* Evangelize modern DevOps and software engineering practices
* Partner with architecture, security, and platform teams to balance autonomy
and compliance.
