We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with Eclipse RCP expertise to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade desktop and backend applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Java development, Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), OSGi framework, and up-to-date backend technologies.
The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance solutions and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Eclipse RCP.
- Develop and enhance Eclipse plugins, views, editors, perspectives, and extension points.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work with SWT and JFace for desktop UI development.
- Develop modular applications using OSGi and Equinox frameworks.
- Implement business requirements with clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Integrate applications with relational databases and external systems.
- Troubleshoot application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

Core Skills
- Solid experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Hands-on experience with Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform).
- Experience with SWT and JFace frameworks.
- Good understanding of OSGi and Equinox.
- Experience in Eclipse Plugin Development.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
