We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Dredging to oversee and manage dredging projects in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the dredging industry and will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee dredging projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets quality standards and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are monitored and controlled.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during dredging operations.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 12-20 years of experience in project management, specifically in dredging or marine construction.
- Strong knowledge of dredging techniques, equipment, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Robust leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
