Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with extensive experience in manual testing, specifically with a strong focus on Pega applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Pega applications.
- Perform thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide status reports and updates to stakeholders on testing progress and issues.
Mandatory Skills
- Solid expertise in Pega Manual Testing.
- Proven experience in manual testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on Pega applications.
- Relevant certifications in QA or software testing are a plus.
