Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer (Food) role based at our manufacturing facility in Pune. The Maintenance Engineer will oversee the maintenance and reliability of food processing and packaging equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent production quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine inspections, planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating repairs to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. The role also involves collaborating with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement, maintaining maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene,



and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Engineer will contribute to optimizing equipment performance, reducing breakdowns, and supporting the company's focus on quality and innovation in food manufacturing.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for food processing and packaging machinery.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering experience, including planning, execution, and optimization of maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Preventive Maintenance, including developing and following schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Electrical Maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and controls related to production equipment.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field), preferably with experience in the food or FMCG industry.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing setup.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work in shifts if required.
- Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills to coordinate with production, quality, and safety teams.
