We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editing Intern who can transform raw footage and ideas into engaging, high-quality video content for our social media, marketing campaigns and product promotions.

Role Overview

As a Video Editing Intern, you will work closely with the Marketing, Content and Creative teams to produce engaging short-form and promotional video content.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, storytelling, pacing, transitions and social-media trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and promotional videos.
- Convert raw footage into polished and engaging social media content.
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music and B-roll.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks and opening sequences for short-form videos.
- Edit promotional videos for Falchion Xeniaa's products and services.
- Create videos showcasing POS, restaurant technology, features, product demos and customer experiences.
- Work with the content team to understand scripts, concepts and creative briefs.
- Maintain consistency with the company's brand style, fonts, colors and visual identity.
- Perform basic color correction, audio cleanup and video enhancement.
- Create different versions of videos according to platform requirements.
- Keep track of current Instagram/Reels trends,



editing styles, transitions and audio trends.
- Take feedback from the creative/marketing team and make revisions quickly.
- Organize raw footage, project files, assets and final exports systematically.
- Assist in brainstorming recent video concepts and creative ideas.
- Use AI tools wherever appropriate to improve the video creation and editing workflow.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing.
- Proficiency in at least one editing software:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- CapCut
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- Basic knowledge of After Effects is an advantage.
- Understanding of:
- Video cuts and pacing
- Transitions
- Captions and subtitles
- Sound effects and music synchronization
- Basic color correction
- Basic audio editing
- Aspect ratios and social-media formats
- Basic motion graphics

Creative Skills
- Strong sense of visual storytelling.
- Good understanding of what makes a Reel engaging.
- Ability to create strong hooks within the first few seconds.
- Good sense of timing, composition and pacing.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new editing styles.
- Good understanding of current social-media trends.
- Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Students or graduates from Film Making, Mass Communication, Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fields.
- Candidates with personal projects, freelance experience, YouTube/Instagram content or college projects are welcome.
- Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop or basic graphic design will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools is a plus.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts is highly preferred.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must share a portfolio/showreel or samples of their previous video-editing work.

- Promotional videos
- Product videos
- College projects
- Personal projects
- Freelance work
- Before/after editing samples

Freshers are welcome to apply if they have strong personal or academic editing projects.
