Profile: Senior SAP HANA Architect and Tableau Developer with native HANA modelling and enterprise visualisation expertise
Primary Focus: Native HANA data modelling, SQLScript development and enterprise Tableau dashboard delivery
Experience: 10+ years across SAP HANA development and analytics

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
This role bridges two disciplines: building high-performance data models directly inside the SAP HANA database, and delivering enterprise-grade Tableau dashboards that consume that data. You own both layers end to end:

▸Design and build native SAP HANA data models: Calculation Views, Attribute Views, Analytic Views and Table Functions.
▸Develop and optimise SQLScript stored procedures and HANA SQL queries for high-performance database-side processing.
▸Architect the analytical data layer that powers enterprise reporting and business intelligence consumption.
▸Design and deliver interactive enterprise Tableau dashboards on Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
▸Apply data visualisation best practices across chart selection, colour design and user experience principles.
▸Implement complex Tableau calculations: LOD expressions, table calculations and calculated fields.
▸Build data blending and join strategies across multiple disparate source systems.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITY REQUIRED
SAP HANA Native Modelling
▸Expert-level HANA data modelling: Calculation Views (graphical and scripted), Attribute Views, Analytic Views and Table Functions.
▸SQLScript development: stored procedures, script-based calculation views, CE functions and HANA SQL optimisation.
▸Performance tuning across partition strategies, data-volume optimisation, join types and aggregation push-down.




▸SAP Web IDE experience for HANA development, model activation and transport management.
▸Strong understanding of column-store architecture and HANA in-memory processing principles.

S/4HANA Module Data Structures
▸Working knowledge of S/4HANA data structures across FI/CO, SD, MM, PP and PM modules.
▸Understanding of how business transactions in S/4HANA generate data that feeds analytical consumption layers.

Tableau Development
▸Expert Tableau developer: Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud deployment and administration.
▸Advanced calculations: Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, table calculations and complex calculated fields.
▸Enterprise dashboard design: interactive dashboards with filters, parameters, drill-through actions and dynamic views.
▸Data blending and join strategies across relational, non-relational and SAP HANA data sources.
▸Data visualisation best practices: chart type selection, colour theory, layout principles and end-user experience design.

Advantageous
▸Power BI development experience is a solid additional advantage for this role.
