Arni Medica Private Limited, an ISO 13485:2016 certified medical devices and IVD manufacturer at the Medical Devices Park, Hyderabad, invites fresh graduates to join our 12 month Graduate Engineering Trainee program in Molding and Tooling. Trainees get structured, hands-on exposure across injection molding operations, mold maintenance, quality and new product development, with the goal of absorbing successful trainees into permanent Technician or Engineer roles.

Training Program & Responsibilities

- Molding operations (Months 1-4): Learn machine setup, startup and shutdown of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment (dryers, hopper loaders, mold temperature controllers, chillers, robots); assist with mold changeovers and daily production monitoring.
- Process fundamentals: Understand process parameters (temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling and cycle time), material behaviour of medical grade polymers, and how each parameter affects part quality.
- Defect analysis: Learn to identify and help correct short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, weld lines and dimensional variation; participate in root cause analysis using 5-Why and fishbone methods.
- Tooling and mold care (Months 5-8): Assist with preventive maintenance of molds including cleaning, polishing, venting checks, lubrication and reassembly; learn hot runner systems, ejector systems, cooling channels and mold storage practices; help maintain mold history cards and spare parts records.

- Quality and compliance (Months 9-12): Support in-process inspection, first article inspection and use of measuring instruments; learn ISO 13485 documentation, batch records, GMP and cleanroom (ISO Class 7/8) discipline; observe process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and mold qualification trials.
- Improvement projects: Own a small continuous improvement project (cycle time, rejection reduction, 5S or preventive maintenance) and present findings to management.
- Safety: Follow machine safety, LOTO discipline and safe handling of resins and hot surfaces at all times.

Qualifications

- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical, Production, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering; CIPET graduates strongly preferred.
- 2025 or 2026 pass-outs; 0 to 1 year of experience. Internship or project work in plastics, tooling or manufacturing is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer).
- Willing to work in shifts on the shop floor, eager to learn, and takes ownership.
- Good communication in English and Telugu or Hindi; basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

What we offer

- Structured 12 month training under experienced molding and tooling engineers.
- Exposure to precision medical device and IVD manufacturing in a certified cleanroom workplace.
