Job Summary

Avaloq is seeking a Senior Kubernetes & Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of our cloud-native platform. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Kubernetes, Linux, Cloud Infrastructure, and Terraform, with a passion for automation, scalability, security, and reliability. You will work closely with platform, security, and application teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure in a mission-critical financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycle activities including provisioning, upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Implement best practices for Kubernetes networking, security, storage, and high availability.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable,



and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules and automated provisioning frameworks.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems, focusing on performance, security, patching, and system reliability.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment automation and operational efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.

- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards
