Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement reliable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Apply strong system design and architectural principles to backend solutions.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop and deploy applications using AWS cloud technologies.
- Take ownership of critical and time-sensitive product requirements.
- Drive technical decisions and contribute to backend architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable and scalable code.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability and reliability issues.

Required Experience & Skills

- 2+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of System Design and Backend Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience building scalable and distributed systems.
- Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
- Experience working in a product-based company is highly preferred.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exposure to AI tools, LLMs or Copilot IDEs is an added advantage.
