Position Overview

We are seeking a multiple Windchill PLM Consultant (Developer/Architect/Lead) with 4 to 18 years of experience to lead Windchill customization, configuration, and integration initiatives. The candidate will design and build enterprise-grade PLM solutions, working closely with cross-functional engineering and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Windchill PLM customization, configuration, and enterprise integration projects aligned with engineering objectives.

- Design and implement server-side Java customizations including utilities, WTServices, listeners, form processors, and business logic extensions.

- Develop and enhance Windchill workflows, JCA/UI components, info structures, and access control policies (ACLs).

- Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems such as ERP, CAD, MES, and document management platforms.

- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimization across PLM environments.

- Support Windchill platform upgrades, patch management, and data migration activities.

- Participate in DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and API-based integrations.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and enforce development best practices.

Required Technical Skills

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in PTC Windchill PLM (versions 10.x, 11.x,



or 12.x).

- Solid development background in Java, JSP, XML, JavaScript, and RESTful web services.

- Deep expertise in the Windchill Data Model, Type and Attribute Management, Workflow Engine, and Access Control Rules (ACLs).

- Proven experience customizing PDMLink, Change Management (ECR/ECN/ECA), Parts, and Document management modules.

- Hands-on proficiency with WTServices, Info*Engine, JCA/UI frameworks, and Windchill extension architectures.

- Exposure to CAD data management (Creo, NX, or SolidWorks via Workgroup Manager).

- Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle / SQL Server) and deployment scripts.

- Experience with build and version control tools (Maven, Ant, Git).

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on exposure to ThingWorx Navigate or Windchill REST Services (WRS / OSLC).

- Experience integrating Windchill with ERP systems (SAP via ESI/T4S or Oracle EBS).

- Understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and cloud hosting environments (AWS or Azure).

- PTC Certification in Windchill Development or Customization.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
