Microsoft 365 Team Lead – Platform & Collaboration
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 leader to build and lead our M365 function.
This person will own the architecture, operations, governance, and continuous improvement of
our Microsoft 365 environment while also building a high-performing team and partnering
closely with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, administration, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services, including
Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID, and Power
Platform.
• Define and execute the M365 roadmap, standards, and operating model for the
organization.
• Build, mentor, and manage the M365 team, including hiring, coaching, performance
management, and capability development.
• Own service reliability, incident resolution, escalations, and root cause analysis for
critical M365 issues.
• Drive security, compliance, governance, access control, and policy enforcement across
the M365 ecosystem.
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, End User Computing, and business teams to
deliver integrated workplace solutions.
• Lead migrations, tenant management, automation, and process improvements using
PowerShell and modern administration practices.
• Manage vendors, licensing, cost optimization, and platform usage to ensure value
realization.
• Create documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles,



and operational reporting for
leadership visibility.
Required Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, engineering, architecture, or
workplace technology roles.
• 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise across core M365 workloads, especially Exchange Online,
Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft security controls.
• Proven ability to handle enterprise support, escalations, and production issues in a
structured way.
• Practical knowledge of PowerShell automation and process improvement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-
technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft certifications in M365, security, or related domains.
• Experience with Power Platform, adoption programs, and collaboration governance.
• Exposure to ITIL or structured service management practices.
• Experience in scaling workplace platforms in a fast-growing or multi-site environment.
