Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. This includes cutting, re-arranging, and enhancing footage to tell a compelling story or convey a specific message. You will work closely with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to ensure the final product meets project objectives and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble recorded footage into a well-structured and engaging narrative.
- Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcast.
- Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the video.
- Ensure continuity and logical flow within the edited sequences.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver on vision.
- Manage and organize video assets and project files efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and industry trends.

Qualifications





- Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), strong understanding of visual storytelling, color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics basics, and attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, patient, good communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, collaborative spirit.
