Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd. has setup a new food processing & manufacturing facility. It has commissioned it's new manufacturing plant at Khopoli, Maharashtra.

Overview

The Senior Quality Control Executive will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining quality standards across all stages of production at the factory, ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations and FSSC 22000 requirements. This position requires hands-on expertise in implementing and monitoring food safety and quality management systems according to FSSC protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routine inspections and quality tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with defined quality parameters.
- Implement and oversee quality control systems, documentation, and procedures, with special emphasis on FSSC food safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify, investigate, and resolve quality deviations, ensuring rapid corrective and preventive action.
- Lead efforts in food safety risk assessment, hazard control planning, allergen management, and monitoring of Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRPs) as required by FSSC.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of quality checks, test results, audit reports, and non-conformance registers.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits (including FSSC certification audits), ensuring full compliance and readiness.
- Train factory personnel on food safety, FSSC 22000 protocols, hygiene practices, and product quality requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, safety, and process efficiency.




- Communicate food safety and quality matters clearly to all relevant stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of quality control experience in FMCG, preferably in food manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in FSSC 22000 certification implementation and food safety management systems.
- Solid understanding of ISO standards, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance relevant to the food sector.
- Familiarity with statistical process control, root cause analysis, and quality management software tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and training skills for cross-functional teamwork and staff development
