We are looking for an experienced MongoDB database administrator to own the design, performance, security, and reliability of our MongoDB estate. This role requires deep hands-on expertise across replica sets, sharded clusters, backup/restore, and performance tuning, with the judgment to make architectural decisions independently and troubleshoot production issues under pressure.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, monitor, and maintain MongoDB environments across development, staging, and productionDesign and manage ReplicaSet and Sharded Cluster architectures for high availability and horizontal scalabilityOwn backup and restore strategy and execution, ensuring recoverability meets business RPO/RTO requirementsPlan and execute database patching, version upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtimeManage and optimize deployments using MongoDB Ops ManagerPerform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning across the MongoDB fleetWrite and troubleshoot Mongo Query Language (MQL)
