Plant Head – Manufacturing OperationsLocation: MumbaiDepartment: Operations / ManufacturingReporting To: COOExperience: 20–25 YearsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations with responsibility for safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, plant performance and people management. The role will oversee production, maintenance, quality, logistics and other plant functions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead overall plant operations covering Production, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Stores, HR and EHS .Drive production targets through optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and materials.Monitor key manufacturing KPIs including OEE, yield, downtime, wastage and rework .Manage production planning and ensure timely delivery and quality standards.Lead cross-functional teams and drive a high-performance culture.Ensure quality systems and compliance with ISO, BIS, ASTM and applicable standards .Drive preventive/predictive maintenance and maximize plant uptime.Lead cost reduction, lean manufacturing, energy saving and waste reduction initiatives.Ensure EHS,



statutory and industrial-relations compliance.Lead CapEx, greenfield/brownfield and continuous-improvement projects .Drive manufacturing excellence through Kaizen, 5S, TPM and Six Sigma .Candidate Profile20–25 years of experience in Manufacturing / Plant Operations.Minimum 10 years in a plant/manufacturing leadership role .Robust preference for candidates from Glass Processing, Architectural Glass, Façade, Automotive Glass or Auto Ancillary manufacturing .Experience handling Greenfield/Brownfield plants would be an advantage.Strong knowledge of production systems, SAP/ERP, ISO and Lean Manufacturing .Engineering qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical, Electrical, Production or related discipline .Robust people leadership, decision-making, crisis management and execution capabilities.Key Performance IndicatorsProduction volume & yield, OTIF delivery, manufacturing cost, machine uptime, breakdown hours, customer complaints, employee productivity and retention.
