We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Data Protection & Insider Risk Management Consultant to join our growing cybersecurity and compliance practice.Location: - Pan IndiaExperience: - 6+ YearsWork Model: - HybridKey Responsibilities✅ Lead requirements discovery workshops, policy design, and implementation for Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management (IRM) use cases.✅ Develop and execute Sensitivity Labeling strategies , including taxonomy design, default and recommended labeling, auto-labeling, and lifecycle governance.✅ Drive pilot deployments and optimize Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and DLP policies .✅ Assess and fine-tune Sensitive Information Types (SITs) to improve protection effectiveness while minimizing business impact.✅ Analyze Insider Risk Management alerts, reduce false positives, optimize risk indicators, and establish monitoring and incident response procedures.✅ Develop governance frameworks and create technical, operational, adoption, rollout, and executive-level documentation.✅ Collaborate with business, compliance, privacy, and security stakeholders to align data protection initiatives with organizational objectives.Required Skills & Qualifications6+ years of experience in Data Protection, Information Security, Privacy,



or Microsoft Security & Compliance solutionsStrong expertise in Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management , including policy design, alert investigation, risk indicators, tuning, and use case implementationHands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection , Sensitivity Labels , and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across Microsoft 365 environmentsExperience conducting stakeholder workshops, gathering requirements, assessing security and compliance risks, and developing solution architecturesStrong analytical, communication, documentation, governance, rollout, and adoption management skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with Proofpoint Information Protection, Email Security, DLP, Insider Threat Management , or similar security solutionsKnowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps , Microsoft Defender for Endpoint , and related Microsoft Security technologiesUnderstanding of privacy and compliance frameworks including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and NIST Privacy FrameworkExperience with enterprise-wide data classification, records management, and information governance programsPreferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate ( SC-400 )Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert ( SC-100 )Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate ( SC-200 )Certified Information Privacy Skilled ( CIPP )Certified Information Systems Security Professional ( CISSP )Certified Information Security Manager ( CISM )
