Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Vice President – Operations to lead large-scale Finance & Accounting Operations and client delivery. The role requires a strong customer-service orientation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, process orientation, problem-solving capabilities, and proven experience in managing large teams across multiple complex processes.

Role & responsibilities

Key Requirements

- 15+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 8+ years in a leadership/people management role.
- Proven experience in Operations Management and large-scale team leadership.
- Experience managing 100+ FTEs across multiple processes or functions.
- Strong expertise in Client Relationship Management, stakeholder management, and client escalation management.
- Extensive experience in Accounting & Financial Operations supporting US, UK, and Australian markets.
- Robust understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.




- Demonstrated experience establishing and managing governance frameworks, operational controls, KPI dashboards, MIS reporting, and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs).
- Strong background in Process Transformation, Continuous Improvement, Lean/Operational Excellence, and productivity improvement.
- Proven track record of building and implementing processes from scratch and scaling operations.
- Experience driving Automation and Digital Transformation across Finance & Accounting functions.
- Prior experience in a Shared Services, Outsourcing, BPO, KPO, or Finance & Accounting Operations environment.
- Solid commercial acumen with experience managing revenue, margins, productivity, and operational financial KPIs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to manage senior client stakeholders.
- Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- CA qualification preferred.
- Candidates with experience in senior positions such as Senior Manager, AVP, VP, or equivalent will be preferred.
