Job Responsibilities / Deliverables

1. Handle direct tax compliance including tax working, TDS matters, return preparation, and related statutory filings.

2. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal finance teams on direct tax notices from revenue authorities.

3. Support tax assessments, notices, appeals, and departmental submissions by preparing data, reconciliations, and responses.

4. Maintain proper records, tax files, and documentation for compliance and litigation support.

5. Exposure to indirect tax matters such as GST will be an added advantage. Candidate will be trained for related indirect tax matters on the job.

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
4–6 years of relevant experience in direct taxation, preferably in a corporate tax function or consulting firm.

M.Com / MBA Finance / B.Com or equivalent.

2. Understanding of TDS provisions, basic income tax provisions, tax compliance processes, and corporate tax reporting & reconciliations.

3. Hands-on experience in handling tax notices, assessments, and reconciliations.

4. Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

5. Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems.

Graduate / Postgraduate in any firm
5 to 6 years of relevant experience in managing IT infra-Projects, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
Hands-on experience in setting up complete infrastructure of office / plant setup.
Good understanding of server management and network infrastructure.
Positive understanding of multi-location infrastructure setup.
Good understanding of hybrid infrastructure (Cloud + On-Prem) setup

Additional notes
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing routine tax deliverables while escalating complex matters appropriately. Prior exposure to a pharma industry environment will be preferred. CA Firm or corporate background is a must.
