PIMCORE MDM / INFORMATICA MDM Lead Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MDM Lead Developer with strong expertise in PIMCORE MDM and/or Informatica MDM to lead the architecture, design, development, integration, and implementation of enterprise Master Data Management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Master Data Management, data modeling, data quality, data governance, integration, and cloud technologies, along with proven experience leading MDM implementations and mentoring technical teams. The role requires a hands-on technical leader who can translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing MDM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture, design, development, and end-to-end implementation of PIMCORE MDM and/or Informatica MDM solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Define and implement best practices for data modeling, master data domains, data consolidation, hierarchy management, reference data, survivorship, and match/merge rules.
- Design and develop scalable MDM solutions covering key domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, Material, Location, and other enterprise master data.
- Lead the integration of MDM platforms with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, eCommerce, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Design and implement batch, real-time, event-driven, and API-based integrations using appropriate integration technologies.
- For Informatica implementations, provide strong expertise in Informatica MDM, IICS/CDI, CDQ/IDQ, and Application Integration (CAI).
- For PIMCORE implementations, leverage PIMCORE Data Objects, Data Models, Classification Stores, Data Quality capabilities, APIs, workflows, and integration frameworks to build enterprise-grade solutions.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders, data owners, and subject-matter experts to gather requirements, define MDM strategies, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, metadata, data ownership, and stewardship frameworks.
- Define and implement data validation, profiling, cleansing, standardization, deduplication, and enrichment processes.
- Design complex hierarchies, relationships, business rules, workflows, and data stewardship processes.
- Lead performance optimization, scalability assessments, capacity planning, and technical troubleshooting for MDM implementations.
- Define and execute migration strategies for transitioning legacy/on-premise MDM platforms and master data repositories to modern cloud or PIMCORE-based MDM solutions.




- Lead technical teams through the complete SDLC, including solution design, development, code reviews, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide MDM developers, integration developers, and technical consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and high performance.
- Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, components, integration patterns, templates, and delivery methodologies to improve implementation efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards covering security, architecture, integration, development, DevOps, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders, provide solution recommendations, and contribute to estimation, planning, risk management, and project governance.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams across business, architecture, data engineering, integration, QA, DevOps, and application development functions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 812 years of experience in Enterprise Data Management, with significant experience in Master Data Management and data integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with PIMCORE MDM and/or Informatica MDM.
- Proven track record of delivering 2+ full lifecycle MDM implementations, from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and production support.
- Expert knowledge of:
- MDM architecture and solution design
- Data modeling and master data domains
- Data consolidation and standardization
- Hierarchy and relationship management
- Match, merge, deduplication, and survivorship
- Data quality and validation
- Data governance and stewardship
- MDM integration patterns and APIs

- Strong experience in SQL, data profiling, data analysis, data transformation, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating MDM platforms with ERP, CRM, eCommerce, data warehouse, data lake, and other enterprise applications.
- Robust understanding of REST APIs, web services, JSON/XML, batch processing, and real-time integration patterns.
- For Informatica candidates: strong hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, IICS/CDI, and CDQ/IDQ.
- For PIMCORE candidates: strong hands-on experience with PIMCORE MDM, Data Objects, Data Models,



Classification Store, APIs, workflows, and PIMCORE integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a client-facing technical leadership role and convert complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience leading technical teams, conducting code/design reviews, and mentoring developers.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.

Good to Have

- Experience with Informatica Application Integration (CAI) and real-time API integrations.
- Experience with PIMCORE Commerce, PIMCORE PIM, DAM, or Digital Experience Platform capabilities.
- Experience with Docker,CI/CD, Git, DevOps, containerization, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance, data catalogs, metadata management, lineage, and stewardship tools.
- Experience implementing MDM within large-scale global enterprises and complex multi-system environments.
- Experience with legacy MDM migration, data modernization, and cloud transformation programs.
- Relevant certifications in Informatica, PIMCORE, Cloud, Data Management, or Data Governance will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The successful candidate should be a hands-on MDM technical leader rather than purely a project manager. They should be comfortable moving between enterprise architecture, detailed solution design, development, integration, data quality, stakeholder discussions, and team leadership.

Candidates with strong expertise in either PIMCORE MDM or Informatica MDM will be considered, provided they demonstrate transferable MDM architecture, integration, data quality, and governance expertise.

Compensation:

- Hourly rate of INR 1,250 with working of minimum 16 hours per week leading to INR20,000 per week
