Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 58 Relationship Managers (RMs)/Field Sales Officers (FOS).
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing Field Sales Officers to strengthen the agency network.
- Drive sales through the agency channel by building and expanding a strong distribution network of insurance advisors and agents.
- Coach and support the sales team through regular field visits, performance reviews, and continuous guidance.
- Conduct training sessions for RMs and agents to enhance product knowledge, sales capability, and overall performance.




- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless business operations and issue resolution.
- Cascade information related to business initiatives, incentive programs, and sales contests to keep the team engaged and motivated.
- Travel across 810 cities within the assigned territory to monitor team performance, support agent recruitment, and achieve business targets.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Insurance Broking/Life Insurance industry.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a Team Leader/People Manager role.
- Solid understanding of Retail Life Insurance products and the Agency distribution model.
- Proven track record in team handling, recruitment, sales management, and business development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in building and managing agency sales teams.
- Strong people management and field sales exposure.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
