Role & responsibilities

1) Store Operational

* Develop business strategies to raise our customers pool, expand store traffic and optimize

profitability.

* Responsible for day-to-day performance and operations on the store floor.

* Take a floor walk to ensure that display is arranged in appropriate way.

* Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.

* Handle store administration and supervise compliance with policies, procedures and SOP.

* Check store compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Coordinate with housekeeping and security staff for the same.

* Identify and analyze the sales and set the daily/monthly target accordingly.

* Set staff's schedules and breaks in shift.

* Responsible to do ad-hoc work as and when needed.





* Handle and maintain petty cash register and coordinate with accounts team regarding the

same.

2) Stock maintenance/Inventory Management

* Check the stock received in the store according to the raised invoice.

* Monitor inventory level and order recent items accordingly. Follow up with the superior

regarding same.

* Update stock data in WinBDS system.

* Identify non selling books and arrange display for the same.

* Manage stock to maximize sales potential.
