Key Responsibilities:

1. Continuous Improvement & Strategy

- Lead and implement Operation Excellence initiatives across all plants/units.
- Develop and execute strategies for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM initiatives.

2. Process Optimization

- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
- Standardize processes and implement SOPs across departments.
- Improve cycle time, reduce waste, and enhance throughput.

3. Performance Monitoring

- Establish KPIs and dashboards for operational performance.
- Track plant performance metrics such as OEE, productivity, rejection rates, and downtime.
- Conduct regular reviews with plant teams and management.

4. Cost Optimization

- Identify cost-saving opportunities in production, procurement, and logistics.
- Drive initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and operational costs.

5. Quality & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and improve product quality.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, SCM, QA, and Projects teams.
- Facilitate alignment between departments for smooth operations.

7. Training & Capability Building

- Train and mentor teams on Lean tools, Six Sigma methodologies,



and best practices.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

8. Digital & Automation Initiatives

- Drive adoption of digital tools, automation, and Industry 4.0 practices.
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Improvement in OEE (%)
- Reduction in production cost (%)
- Reduction in rejection/scrap rate (%)
- Improvement in productivity and cycle time
- Implementation of CI projects and savings achieved

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial).
- MBA / Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
- 12–18 years of experience in manufacturing operations with robust exposure to continuous improvement.
- Experience in FRP/GRP, chemical, or heavy manufacturing industry preferred.
