About MavenProTech

MavenProTech is a UK-based product company building intelligent software for industrial and enterprise customers. This position is based full-time in our Visakhapatnam (Vizag), India office, with some remote flexibility. You will join the founding team and should be comfortable working UK hours to maintain overlap with our UK-based team and European customers.

The role

You are a full-stack developer building our web applications end to end Python/FastAPI backends, PostgreSQL data models, and React front ends. You own features from the database through the API to the UI, with light guidance from the UK team.

Experience: 5+ years building full-stack web applications, with strong hands-on Python backend experience.

What you'll do

- Build backend services — FastAPI + PostgreSQL — REST APIs, role-based access, and background jobs.
- Model data — design clean PostgreSQL schemas, write efficient SQL, and keep data integrity solid.
- Build the front end — React (TypeScript) — data grids, forms, dashboards, and multi-step wizards.
- Handle customer data — import and validate spreadsheet/CSV data (openpyxl / pandas) into the app.
- Ship it — package and deploy with Docker, and help keep the app running.

Must-have

- Strong Python — FastAPI / Starlette, pydantic,



and asyncio; comfortable building and running your own services.
- Strong PostgreSQL / relational SQL — schema design, efficient queries, indexes, and transactions.
- React (with TypeScript) — components, hooks, and state management; building data-heavy screens against real APIs.
- REST API design — clean, well-structured endpoints with validation.
- End-to-end ownership — able to take a feature from data model to working UI with little supervision.
- Good communication — clear written English and the ability to work with a distributed team.

Nice-to-have

- Data processing — openpyxl / pandas for spreadsheet ingest and validation.
- Docker & basic DevOps — containerising and deploying applications.
- Testing — pytest for backend, and a habit of testing what you build.
- Real-time UI — WebSocket / SSE for live updates.
- Product / startup experience — comfort owning features in a small, quick-moving team.
